Blake Carroll, Construction Management
 Blake Carroll has a Degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University. Blake began his professional career in the construction industry with Pulte Homes as a Superintendent. He then went to work with Perini Building Company. During his tenure with Perini he was exposed to many different high-profile projects at various stages of Commercial Development.
Blake lived in Hollywood, FL for several months working as a Project Engineer/Superintendent constructing the 86-acre Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Resort and Seminole Paradise, including 350,000 SF of retail space inclusive of restaurants, night clubs and shops. While working with Perini, Blake was also involved in several of the company’s projects in Arizona and Nevada, which included the Westgate City Center in Glendale, AZ, comprised of 500,000 SF retail/office development, and the MGM Mirage - City Center in Las Vegas, NV, which was an $11+ billion project that included hotels, condos, casinos and retail space.
After Perini, Blake was recruited to join Glimcher Ventures Southwest (GVSW), a national real-estate development firm, in Scottsdale, AZ. Blake was hired as a project/construction manager to develop GVSW’s largest project at the time, Parke West, which is a 350,000 SF lifestyle retail center in Peoria, AZ. During his time with GVSW, Blake also played a fundamental role in the company’s development of four other commercial retail projects throughout Arizona including sites in Flagstaff, Gilbert, Anthem and Scottsdale.
For the past three years Blake has been working as a consultant helping local Arizona developers with project management of their developments. Blake has developed a strong relationship with developers, brokers and consultants through his time of working in the industry.
Blake has specific expertise in the following areas:
- Managing project design and completion, entitlements and development
- Managing and serving as point of contact for consultants
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts with third-party consultants
- Coordinating development of projects with adjacent developers and neighbors
- Serving as point of contact for tenant coordination
- Selecting sites and handling due diligence of new sites and projects
